libnetpbm9 software package provides Shared libraries for netpbm (v9), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnetpbm9
libnetpbm9 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnetpbm9 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnetpbm9 *
You will get with libnetpbm9 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
